Semi-Rugged Laptop
The Toughbook 55 continues the tradition of durability Panasonic Toughbook's are known for. It's the perfect fit for first responders and anyone in a mobile workforce. Withstanding 3-ft falls, spills, extreme weather, vibrations, and other harsh conditions are no problem for this semi-rugged pc.
Toughbook 55 is the thinnest and lightest in its class. Additionally, this 14" computer has a ton of added features that are not yet available with other Toughbook models.
Software & Operating System
Standard configuration for a semi-rugged Toughbook 55 comes with an Intel® Core™️ i5-8365U vPro™️ processor , 1.6GHz with Turbo Boost up to 4.1GHz. The RAM has an upgradable option that can store up to 64GB memory in total. The processor also has a Core i7-8665 upgrade option available, both are a step up from the Toughbook 54.
The device's standard issued storage starts at 512GB, while there is an xPAK option for 1TB. Also standard, you also get 2 USB 3.0 ports as well as 1 USB-C port. Also standard is HDMI connection, a microSDXC memory reader, and 1Gbps Ethernet port.
